The Samaritan Trust, in collaboration with the NSS unit of GHSS School Vellora in Kannur District, is organizing a hair donation camp on 28th July 2023. The camp aims to collect hair donations for making wigs for cancer patients.

Samaritan Palliative , Nellikkunnu is trying to launch a new program for the rural , financially poor girl children of our area. We are combining a central government program called SSY ( Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana)in which a parent has to deposit an amount which is not less than 250 rupees per month through the post office and planting a tree called ' urupp' at their homes. The tree is supposed to be taken care upto the age the girl child enters married life. The deposit scheme also will mature by that time. Both the projects are for the girl's future life by which she can enter into the married life with a strong financial support. We are planning to inaugurate the program on 14 th Nov 2020.
